- Fields of study accredited by ABET must meet the highest standards set for technical professions and engineering programs. The accreditation process itself lasted almost 4 years and was very demanding. ABET is constantly improving its assessment criteria, checking, among other things, the consistency of education with processes taking place in the economy and on the labor market, says the Rector of TUL, Professor Krzysztof Jóźwik.

The Rector adds

- Having such an important accreditation by Lodz University of Technology is an extremely important step in the implementation of a new, innovative model of designing study programs at our university. The experience gained during the accreditation process will allow us to develop new quality standards, which will once again bring Lodz University of Technology the status of a leader in the field of higher education in Poland.

Accredited engineering programs are conducted in collaboration with IFE - Computer Science at the Faculty of Electrical, Electronic, Computer and Control Engineering, and Information Technology at the Faculty of Technical Physics, Information Technology and Applied Mathematics.

ABET is an American organization founded in 1932, accrediting higher education programs in the fields of applied sciences, computer science, engineering and engineering technologies.
