The university also made it to the world's top institutions, debuting this year as for Goal 5: Gender Equality, for which it ranked in the high 301-400 range (1,361 ranked institutions).

Another category in which Lodz University of Technology scored high among the rated universities was Goal 9: Industry, innovation, infrastructure (in the 301-400th range globally and 3rd in Poland) and Goal 17: Partnerships for the goals (401-600th in the world and 4th in Poland). TUL was also rated with regard to Goal 10: Reduced inequalities and Goal 3: Good health and well-being.
Overall 2,152 universities were assessed in the ranking, of which 1,963 were ranked in the general classification, including 25 from Poland. In that general ranking, TUL is the second best-rated technical university in Poland and 601-800th in the world.
