"Let's forget about modesty! We need to repeat this event". This is the comment of one university candidate who has met with TUL students at this year's TUL Open Day. This online event has confirmed the interest of foreigners in studying at Lodz University of Technology.

TUL Open Day was held just before the May weekend – on April 25. As in every edition, the organizers made sure to provide an attractive, slightly different formula to the event, as this year candidates could connect online with foreign students of our university and learn all about studying at TUL from their peers. Our ambassadors hosted meetings in several languages, including French, Portuguese, Spanish and Ukrainian. This allowed us to reach out to a wider audience, including those who are shy or less confident in speaking English.

Candidates were introduced to the university application process, the opportunities to pursue their passions and interests at Lodz University of Technology, as well as the chances provided by studying in the centre of Poland and Europe. Senior students emphasised the importance of proper preparation for the application process and having confidence in own abilities.

TUL Open Day was also a special event for our ambassadors who were more than happy to share their experiences and opinions – Participating in the Open Day was amazing! I think meeting students who are studying at TUL provides a great opportunity for candidates to find out first-hand what their studies and life at university might be like. It was a very nice, relaxed conversation that cleared up candidates' doubts, – says Paula Ruiz Cervantes, an Erasmus+ student at TUL.

The application process for international candidates for studies at Lodz University of Technology starts in May 2024.
