УХВАЛА СЕНАТУ ПОЛІТЕХНІКИ ЛОДЗЬКОЇ ВІД 30 БЕРЕЗНЯ 2022 РОКУ
«Про вираження солідарності з Україною і засудження агресії Російської Федерації»
На підставі ст. 28 уст. 1 п. 16 устави від 20 липня 2018 р. – Закону про вищу освіту та науку, а також § 13 п. 3 Статуту Політехніки Лодзької – Ухвали № 88/2019 Сенату Політехніки Лодзької від 10 липня 2019 р. ухвалено наступне:
§ 1
Сенат Лодзької Політехніки повністю підтримує позицію Конференції Ректорату Польських Академічних Шкіл, Головної Ради Науки і Вищої Освіти, Польської Академії Наук, конференції ректорату ВНЗ і професійних шкіл та організації асоціації молодих науковців, докторантів та студентів, опублікованої 24 лютого 2022 р. у зв’язку із військовою агресією в Україні.
§ 2
Сенат Політехніки Лодзької і вся академічна спільнота Політехніки Лодзької засуджує дії Російської Федерації, брутальні та антигуманні атаки суверенної держави та українського народу. Запевняємо повну солідарність з Україною, виражаємо наш супротив щодо особливої жорстокості російського агресора, яка призводить до руйнувань та трагедії, знищення та варварства. Прикладаємо усіх зусиль, щоб надати усю необхідну допомогу українській спільноті - тим, хто лишається на території України, численним біженцям, українським студентам та працівникам, що проживають у Польщі.
§ 3
Сенат Політехніки Лодзької виражає супротив і засуджує позицію, окреслену в заяві корпусу ректорату Російської Федерації 4 березня 2022 р., що містить брехливі розповіді і висловлює повну підтримку для рішення російського диктатора і дій російської армії. Це суперечить цінностям, таким як достовірність науки, толерантність та правдивість, які повинні мати місце в науковому просторі, незалежно від нації.
§ 4
Сенат Політехніки Лодзької вимагає негайного припинення військових дій, припинення винищення українського народу і виведення російських військ з території України.
§ 5
Сенат політехніки Лодзької рекомендує Ректору Політехніки Лодзької тимчасове призупинення усіх форм співпраці Політехніки Лодзької з російськими ВНЗ, науково-дослідницькими осередками.
§ 6
Ухвала набирає чинності від 30 березня 2022 р.

Resolution of the Senate of Lodz University of Technology of March 30, 2022. on expressing solidarity with Ukraine and condemnation of aggression of the Russian Federation
Pursuant to Article 28 (1) (16) of the Act of 20 July 2018. - Law on Higher Education and Science (i.e. Journal of Laws of 2022, item 574, as amended) and § 13 item 3 of the Statute of Lodz University of Technology - Resolution No. 88/2019 of the Senate Lodz University of Technology of 10 July 2019, it is resolved as follows:
§ 1
The Senate of Lodz University of Technology fully supports the joint position of the The Conference of Rectors of Academic Schools in Poland, the National Council for Science and Higher Education, the Polish Academy of Sciences, the Conferences of Rectors of Public Professional Universities and Vocational Schools and organizations of young scientists, doctoral candidates and students, published on February 24, 2022 in connection with military aggression of Russia against Ukraine.
§ 2
The Senate of Lodz University of Technology and the entire Academic Community of Lodz University of Technology condemn the actions of the Russian Federation, the brutal and inhuman attacks on a sovereign state, on the Ukrainian people. We assure you of full solidarity with Ukraine, we express our opposition to the particular cruelty of the Russian aggressor, which leads to misery and tragedy, destruction and barbarism. We will make every effort to provide all possible assistance to the Ukrainian community, to those remaining in Ukraine, to the many refugees, and to Ukrainians studying, working, and living in Poland.
§ 3
The Senate of Lodz University of Technology objects to and condemns the statement of the corps of rectors of the Russian Federation dated March 4, 2022, containing a false narrative and expressing full support for the decisions of the Russian dictator and the actions of the Russian army. This contradicts the values of scientific integrity, tolerance and truth that should characterize the scientific community, regardless of nationality.
§ 4
The Senate of Lodz University of Technology calls for an immediate end to hostilities, an end to the destruction of the Ukrainian people and the withdrawal of Russian troops from the territory of Ukraine.
§ 5
The Senate of Lodz University of Technology recommends the Rector of Lodz University of Technology to suspend until cancellation all forms of cooperation of Lodz University of Technology with Russian universities, scientific and research centers.
§ 6
The resolution shall enter into force on 30 March 2022.
The fourteen members of the European Consortium of Innovative Universities, unitedly express undivided solidarity with all Ukrainian higher education institutions, their academic community, and all Ukrainian citizens.
Following the invasion of Ukraine by the Russian Federation, the European University Association (EUA), which represents more than 850 universities and national rectors’ conferences in 48 European countries, stands in solidarity with the university students and staff of Ukraine as well as with the entire population of the country.
On behalf of the institutions representing science and higher education and the undersigned institutions of science, we appeal to academic communities and intellectual elites to take all measures aimed at a peaceful ending of the escalating military aggression on Ukraine…

сьогодні вранці ми з тривогою сприйняли інформацію про події, що сталися на сусідній з нами Україні. Ми з тривогою і сумом спостерігаємо за тим, що відбувається на кордонах і території цієї держави, і цю ситуацію сприймаємо особисто, тим більше що в нашому оточенні живе, працює, навчається багато громадян України.
Шановні співробітники, аспіранти та студенти Лодзького Політехнічного університету,
серед нас є люди українського походження, які вирішили навчатися у нашому виші, виховувати молоді покоління та підтримувати нашу академічну спільноту у кадрово-адміністративній діяльності.
У той момент, коли ви вирішили вибрати лодзький політехнічний університет, ми взяли на себе зобов'язання надавати вам підтримку не тільки на шляху до освіти. Я розумію, що багато хто з вас можуть особливо сильно переживати ситуацію, що склалася. В Україні залишилися Ваші близькі, про яких ви, безумовно, турбуєтеся. Наш університет по можливості постарається надати вам таку необхідну підтримку.
Одна з цінностей нашого університету, яку ми особливо цінуємо, - це взаємна повага. Ми поважаємо різні думки, різні переконання, різні культури і робимо ставку на свободу, яка надається кожному з нас. Я висловлюю щиру надію на те, що суверенітет вашої країни і в той же час доля кожного її громадянина будуть дотримані, і будь-які дії, які повинні загрожувати їм, будуть припинені.
У ці надзвичайно важкі моменти давайте виявимо розуміння і співчуття, які нам зараз дуже потрібні.

Dear Employees, Doctoral Candidates and Students of Lodz University of Technology,
Among us there are people of Ukrainian origin who have decided to study at our university, to educate young generations and to support our academic community in personnel and administrative activities.
The moment you decided to choose Lodz University of Technology, we committed ourselves to support you not only in your educational path. I realise that many of you may be particularly affected by the situation. Your loved ones are still in Ukraine, and I'm sure you are worried about them. Our university will do its best to provide you with the support you so desperately need.
One of the values of our university which I particularly cherish is mutual respect. We respect different opinions, different beliefs, different cultures, and we value the freedom that each of us is entitled to. It is my sincere hope that the sovereignty of your country and the fate of each and every one of its citizens will be respected, and that any actions that threaten it will be stopped.
In these extremely difficult moments, let us show each other understanding and empathy, which we now greatly need.
