Lodz University of Technology (30 November) was the venue for the closing session of the OSCE Civic Solidarity Platform meeting. The conference adopted the Lodz Declaration, in which the authors call on the international community to halt Russian aggression against Ukraine, prevent impunity and ensure justice.

The session was attended by: Ministers of Foreign Affairs: Poland - Prof. Zbigniew Rau, the current OSCE Chair, and North Macedonia, which will take over the Chair in 2023. - Bujar Osmani. The OSCE Secretary-General Helga Schmit also attended the conference.

Professor Krzysztof Jóźwik, Rector of Lodz University of Technology, was invited to the meeting and said:

For our community, this is a very important declaration. I am glad that this historic document, which talks about the Lodz Declaration, was adopted within the walls of Lodz University of Technology, whose community takes a number of measures to provide support for students and employees from Ukraine.

According to PAP, the conference took place on the sidelines of the OSCE Ministerial Council, which began in Lodz on 1 December. The venue for the meeting was Alchemium's auditorium named after Professor Tadusz Paryjczak.
