Prof. Paweł Strumiłło, Chairman of the Board of Lodz ICT Cluster and Vice-Rector for Development at TUL, awarded scholarships from the Cluster to the best IT students – Lodz Programmers of the Year in the Student category from three Lodz universities: Lodz University of Technology, the University of Lodz, the University of Social Sciences.
The current edition of Lodz IT Days at TUL started with a lecture by Maciej Sawicki titled "Games More Real Than Reality - Consequences of the AI Revolution in the Creative Industry." Mariusz Czepiec is set to deliver his presentation, "Publicis Groupe – Artificial Intelligence: Real Challenges," at 9:00 on November 8th (Wednesday).
Lodz IT Days, organized by the Lodz ICT Cluster on the campuses of Lodz University of Technology and the University of Lodz, are the largest events in the region dedicated to the broadly understood IT industry. The event gathers thousands of high school students and university students from Lodz for workshops and lectures.
This year's partners of Lodz ICT Days include: Lodz City Hall, OPUS Center, Łódzkie Voivodeship Marshal's Office, Commerzbank, Hitachi Energy, and Rossmann. The event is sponsored by Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego.
