The President of the Republic of Poland Andrzej Duda, on 27th July, awarded the academic title of professor of social sciences in the discipline of management and quality sciences to Magdalena Grębosz - Krawczyk, PhD, from the Faculty of Management and Production Engineering at TUL. The researcher has joined the group of the youngest professors at TUL.


Prof. Magdalena Grębosz-Krawczyk is a graduate of Gestion et technologie at the International Faculty of Engineering (IFE). She also graduated from the Jean Moulin University in Lyon. She started her professional career at France Télécom in Paris. In 2007, after receiving a PhD in economics, she started working at the Department of European Integration and International Marketing at TUL. She received the degree of Associate Professor in the discipline of management and quality sciences at the University of Łódź in 2014.

Professor Grębosz focuses her research on the following issues: brand management and international marketing, with particular emphasis on brand management in social media and nostalgic branding. She also conducts consulting activities in the field of marketing strategies. She is the author and co-author of 7 books and over 100 articles in national and international journals.

In recent years, she has successfully managed research projects financed, among others, by the National Science Centre Poland, the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA), the Ministry of Science and Higher Education (currently the Ministry of Education and Science), or the Embassy of the French Republic in Poland. She is the supervisor in two completed and three open doctoral dissertations. Prof. Magdalena Grębosz-Krawczyk is an active member of Polish and international scientific organizations and serves as an expert at NAWA.

Professor Grębosz emphasizes the internationalization of her research and teaching activities. She has completed several internships abroad at, among others, the University of Nantes, the École de Management in Grenoble, or the École Supérieure d'Ingénieurs en Électrotechnique et Électronique Paris. Since 2008, she has been regularly teaching as a visiting professor at foreign universities in France, Finland and Slovakia. She was also a scholarship holder of the Bekker programme.

At Lodz University of Technology, she conducts marketing classes mainly in foreign languages (English and French), systematically implementing modern teaching methods: Project Based Learning, Design Thinking, tutoring. She also promotes scientific knowledge among students and in the environment of business practitioners by participating in the Festival of Science, Technology and Art, or Lodz Fashion Weeks. In 2018, she was awarded the Medal of the National Education Commission for her active teaching performance.

Privately, Prof. Magdalena Grębosz-Krawczyk is a fan of travel, crime fiction and board games.
