The latest results of the prestigious QS World University Rankings 2027 have been published. Despite growing competition, Lodz University of Technology has once again been ranked in the 1001–1200 band.

In the latest edition of the QS WUR 2027, 1,504 universities from over 100 countries were included, among them 94 institutions making their debut. As in the previous year, the top positions were held by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Imperial College London, and Stanford University.

The ranking also includes 20 universities from Poland. The highest-ranked institutions in the country are the University of Warsaw, Jagiellonian University, and Warsaw University of Technology.

At the global level, Lodz University of Technology received its highest score in the Faculty-Student Ratio category, ranking 334th worldwide and 6th in Poland.

The ranking methodology is based on indicators grouped into five categories: research quality, graduate employability, quality of teaching, internationalization, and the university’s commitment to sustainable development.
