The signing of the agreement was linked to Prof. Strumiłło's visit to HKMU, during which he delivered an invited lecture at the International Conference on Connected Intelligence (ICCI-2026).
In addition to the signed agreement, both universities are working on finalizing an Erasmus agreement and a Student Exchange Agreement (SEA), which will regulate the rules for student and staff mobility between the institutions.
The established cooperation may include not only student and staff exchanges, but also the implementation of joint research projects and the organization of scientific events, especially in the area of intelligent technologies.
During my several-day stay in Hong Kong, I had the opportunity to visit the HKMU Shenzhen Research Institute in Shenzhen Virtual University Park. The staff potential and laboratory equipment of this unit are impressive. We identified areas of cooperation that we could develop together
– says Prof. Paweł Strumiłło.
