Professor Koszewska’s scientific interests are in sustainable production and consumption. Her recent research has focused on the analysis of consumer behavior in the face of challenges related to sustainable development, circular economy, eco-innovation, and eco-labelling. She specializes in the analysis of textile and clothing market.
Author of over 50 publications in the field of sustainable production and consumption, half of which are publications indexed in the international Web of Science and Scopus databases. Winner of awards for the best publications and conference presentations in Poland and abroad.
Professor Koszewska has managed and implemented numerous projects. She was a coordinator of the international project "Visegrad Strategic Grant - Prospects of the Visegrad cooperation in promoting a sustainable consumption and production models", manager of the research and educational project "Ecology of Textiles - Sustainable Development at IKEA" and other projects. Currently, on behalf of Lodz University of Technology, she is coordinating the implementation of the project "SAPIENS - Sustainability and Procurement in International, European, and National Systems" as part of the Horizon 2020: Innovative Training Networks (ITN) programme.
Professor Małgorzata Koszewska is the initiator and head of the international research group "Sustainability & Circularity Research Team" and a member of the Rector's Sustainability Team. She is also a member of the management board of the Polish Society Commodity Science, vice-president of the Lodz Branch of the Polish Society Commodity Science and a Polish Circular Hotspot expert.
She is an active reviewer to more than a dozen international journals indexed in Web of Science and Scopus databases.
