Academic achievements: 23 monographic publications (7 monographs and scripts, 16 chapters in foreign monographs), 136 publications in domestic and foreign journals, including 89 in JCR (h = 19, 1661 citations without self-citations), 205 publications in collective publications, 6 patents, 28 unpublished studies and design works, and 4 implementations in industry.
Scientific experiments: optimization, heat and mass transfer modeling, membrane processes, fluidized bed and jet processes, artificial intelligence, ionic liquids, renewable energy sources.
Reviews, lectures on invitation: lectures in 19 renowned research centers around the world, reviews in 11 professorships, 16 habilitation theses, 15 doctoral theses, and over several hundred reviews of publications for renowned national and foreign journals, several hundred reviews of research projects commissioned by the State Committee for Scientific Research, National Science Centre, National Centre for Research and Development as an expert. Supervisor of 14 doctoral dissertations.
He was the manager of 31 research projects financed by the State Committee for Scientific Research and the National Science Center.
Organizational activity: in 1992-96, he supervised the design and construction works of facilities for the faculty with a total area of 5000 m2, in 1990-1996 he was the Vice-Dean for Student Affairs at the Faculty of Process and Environmental Engineering, in 1997-2019 he headed the Department of Process Thermodynamics, in 1996-1999 the Rector's representative for lifelong learning and as a co-founder of the Polish Association of Continuing Education of Engineers and Managers, in 2002-2005 and 2009-2012 Vice-Dean for Science at the home Faculty, in 2007-2010 and 2011-2015 Secretary Scientific Committee of Chemical and Process Engineering of the Polish Academy of Sciences and 2015-2019 2020-2023 vice-chair of the Committee of the Institute Chemical and Process Engineering Polish Academy of Sciences.
For his organizational, didactic and scientific activity, prof. Władysław Kamiński was awarded the Silver and Gold Cross of Merit (1993, 1997), the Badge of Merit for Lodz University of Technology (1994), the Medal of National Education (1998) and in 2009 the Knight's Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta.
He was also awarded 3 times by the Minister of Higher Education and Technology, the Minister of National Education (1975, 1981, 1998), many times by the Rector of Lodz University of Technology and the awards of the Dean of the Faculty of Process and Environmental Engineering.
