The 77th academic year in the history of Lodz University of Technology will begin on October 1st. In the winter semester, classes for all forms and levels of studies will be conducted in a combined manner, i.e. through direct contact with the teachers on the premises of Lodz University of Technology, as well as using distance learning methods and tools.

As Rector, Professor Krzysztof Jóźwik says

Due to the improving epidemic situation it is possible for students to return to campus, which we are very happy about. Our priority is to maintain safety among the academic community, which is why I have issued a Announcement regulating the organisation of classes and the functioning of the university. I also continue to encourage all students and staff to be vaccinated and to act responsibly.

Pursuant to the Announcement, as of October 1, the following classes will be conducted at the premises of the university:

  • all lectures for groups of up to 30 students. It is allowed to exceed this limit in the case of a Dean's group comprising more than 30 persons;

  • all classes, project classes, seminars, language classes, physical education classes conducted in groups of up to 30 students. This limit may be exceeded if there are more than 30 students in a Dean's group;

  • all laboratory classes,

  • competence exams,

  • diploma exams.

Other forms of education not listed above will be conducted remotely in a synchronous manner.

Classes conducted in accordance with the study programme in the E-learning mode will be conducted in accordance with this mode.
