The main goal of the program is to improve the quality of education for doctoral candidates and the quality of their research through systematic support for the internationalization of doctoral schools.
The Interdisciplinary Doctoral School (IDS TUL) has planned the implementation of the project: "IMPROVE - International Mission for the Promotion of Research and Optimal Values in Education" under the STER programme.
Key tasks within the project include: scholarship support from NAWA and funding for foreign research internships for the best doctoral candidates. Additionally, to support the integration of the international academic community, intercultural workshops and Polish language courses for foreigners will be organized.
One innovative element of the "IMPROVE" project is a series of training sessions on critical thinking, data management, and artificial intelligence, which are essential for young researchers and respond to contemporary labour market demands.
The project also plans to use modern promotional technologies, such as instructional videos, podcasts, and online campaigns, to effectively attract future doctoral candidates from abroad.
The programme will be implemented from January 1, 2025, to December 31, 2027, and aims to undertake multi-level actions specifically targeted at doctoral candidates to increase IDS TUL's presence on the international stage. Details will be published on the ISD TUL website in the STER 2025-2027 project section.
