The ceremony will take place at 11:00 a.m. in the Tadeusz Paryjczak Auditorium, in the Alchemium building. It will begin with a speech by the Rector, Prof. Krzysztof Jóźwik, who will summarize the most important recent achievements of Lodz University of Technology.
Another important element of the anniversary event will be the awarding of prizes and distinctions to students and graduates for outstanding achievements and diploma theses. For the first time, the Award of the Scientific Council of the Interdisciplinary Doctoral School will be presented. Its aim is to provide financial support to doctoral candidates who are authors of publications in the best renowned scientific journals.
During Friday's ceremony, statuettes and awards will also be presented to the winners of this year's competitions of the Rector of TUL. A special event of the jubilee session of the Senate will be the conferment of the title of Professor Emeritus of Lodz University of Technology, to five distinguished scientists.
