Second-cycle students at TUL who are graduates of first-cycle studies completed at Lodz University of Technology, with outstanding educational results and scientific achievements (publications, patents, implementation of research projects) may apply for the scholarship.

Scholarships are awarded through a two-stage competition, according to the rules set forth in the adopted Scholarship Regulations and the applicable Regulations of Lodz University of Technology's Own Scholarship Fund. The organization of the competition is supervised by the Vice-Rector for Science.
The first stage of the competition is organized and conducted by the relevant Deans at the faculties of Lodz University of Technology. Completed and signed scholarship applications with attachments documenting educational results and academic achievements should be submitted in person or by mail to the Dean's office of the home faculty by 2:00 pm, October 11, 2022.
As a result of the first stage qualification, 9 candidates for the Scholarship are selected, one from each faculty of Lodz University of Technology.
In the second stage of the competition, the Own Scholarship Fund Committee evaluates the performance and achievements of the candidates selected through the first stage and decides on the award of Scholarships and their amounts.
