The office of the Erasmus+ Innovation Centre InnHUB Lodz was officially opened (9.02) at the International Cooperation Centre of Lodz University of Technology. The activities of the new unit were inaugurated by a meeting with representatives of various institutions from the Lodz region. - We want to assist our society in adapting to the needs of the business environment, to changes in the labour market - said the Rector, Prof. Krzysztof Jóźwik, opening the office.

At the opening of the Centre's information desk, Bartosz Stawiarz from the Foundation for the Development of the Education System - director of the office for cooperation with the regions - arrived. The meeting was also attended by the Head of International Cooperation Centre - Assoc. Prof. Dorota Piotrowska.

For two days at TUL (9-10 February), a number of meetings will present opportunities for raising funds for international projects. This is the first of many planned Erasmus+ InnHUB Lodz initiatives. The upcoming calls under the Programme, which has an estimated budget of nearly €3.4 billion for 2023, are already planned for February and March.

The opportunities provided by the Erasmus+ Programme are wide and varied. As Bartosz Stawiarz, director of the office for cooperation with regions from the Foundation for the Development of the Education System, points out:

Everyone will find something for themselves in this offer, which is why it is so important to know about it. This is the purpose of the meeting at Lodz University of Technology presenting the offer to potential beneficiaries, including companies from the Lodz region representing various industries. Erasmus+ is also an opportunity to participate in educational projects, build and expand international cooperation networks, and synergize business and science.

The activities of the Lodz-based Erasmus+ InnHUB Innovation Center primarily focus on funding opportunities for innovative projects that support the construction of a modern education system and strengthen the development of professional competencies of people of all ages.

The Erasmus+ InnHUB is headquartered at the ICC TUL, building A16, room 6 at 36 Żwirki St. in Lodz. It is open to all those interested in the Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps offer on the following days: Tuesday: 8 a.m. to 12 noon, Wednesday: 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., Thursday: 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. For organizational reasons, those interested in the office's offer are asked to e-mail in advance to: magdalena.senator@frse.org.pl in order to arrange a meeting during office hours.
