She develops AI methods for analysing medical, industrial and environmental images. In 2024, she co-chaired the SAPEA expert group that prepared a report for the European Commission on the responsible and effective use of AI in science.
Prof. Fabijańska holds the title of professor of engineering and technology in the discipline of information and communication technology. Her priority research area is HealthTech. She is currently working on applications of artificial intelligence in ophthalmology, materials science, dendrology and environmental sciences, as well as economics and finance.
