The main goal of the InterHEI project, coordinated by the University of Warsaw, is to use the potential, capabilities and knowledge of researchers to co-create and implement projects in cooperation with the university environment, as well as to establish an effective dialogue with industry and government entities. "We want to promote entrepreneurial thinking," explains dr inż. Iwona Staniec of the Faculty of Organization and Management, project coordinator at TUL, and also a partner of InterHEI and leader of the task of establishing the Academy for Commercialization of Research Infrastructure.
Funding of €1.2 million, including €118,800 for TUL, was awarded by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) under the HEI EIT (Higher Education Initiative European Institute of Innovation & Technology) initiative. It is intended to help higher education institutions become engines of innovation and entrepreneurship.
The "InterHEI" consortium consists of 8 full partners and 4 associate partners from Poland, Spain, Italy, Greece, Turkey, Serbia and Slovakia.
Full partners of the "InterHEI" consortium are: Warsaw University (consortium leader, Poland), Lodz University of Technology (Poland), Loyola University (Spain), Marmara University (Turkey), Institute of Food Technology (Serbia), Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK), Perrotis College (Greece) and Future Food Institute (Italy).
Associate partners of the "InterHEI" consortium are: Medical University of Lodz (Poland), Slovak Agricultural University in Nitra (Slovakia), Agricultural University of Cracow (Poland) and Bionanopark (Poland).
