CESAR will serve as a platform supporting the implementation of joint research and development projects, the use of research infrastructure, the commercialisation of research results, and the development of technologies important for national security and modern industry. “CESAR is not just another declaration of cooperation. It is an attempt to translate the potential of Polish science into technologies that matter beyond the laboratory. Our researchers have achieved success in developing technologies with dual-use potential, and it is precisely these solutions that have been assigned particular importance within this initiative,” said Professor Krzysztof Jóźwik, Rector of Lodz University of Technology.
The initiative, coordinated by the Łukasiewicz Research Network – Industrial Research Institute for Automation and Measurements, aims to develop cooperation between universities, research institutes and industry in the fields of artificial intelligence, automation and robotics.
Lodz University of Technology’s participation in the CESAR initiative opens up new opportunities for cooperation and strengthens the University’s involvement in the development of modern industry. The CESAR initiative has been granted the honorary patronage of the Minister of Science and Higher Education. The agreement was signed by 15 signatories at the Ministry of Science and Higher Education headquarters.
