Research.com is an international ranking based on bibliometric data obtained primarily from the OpenAlex and Crossref databases. A university’s position is determined by the combined D-index scores of researchers affiliated with the institution. The D-index is a variation of the h-index that takes into account only publications and citations relating to a particular academic discipline. The results therefore primarily reflect research impact. The current edition analysed the academic output of nearly 280,000 researchers representing all major research disciplines.
