We know the results of this year's competitions for the Awards of Rector of Lodz University of Technology for researchers and doctoral students. During a special session of TUL Senate, 24 May, the winners will receive awards worth a total of PLN 110 thousand. - Thank you very much for all the competition entries. The winner of the competition for the best cited author in 2022 is Professor Marcin Kamiński, Assoc. Prof. Eng. from the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Environmental Engineering. He will receive the prize of PLN 25 000.

In the competition for the award for female/male author of the best scientific publication published in 2021, the winner was Professor Jan Awrejcewicz, Assoc. Prof. Eng. from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. He will receive PLN 25 000 as a reward.

The winner of the prize for the youngest female/male first author of a scientific publication in 2021 was Konrad Stefaniak from the Faculty of Chemistry. The value of the award is PLN 10 000.

The competition for the best publishing female/male PhD student in 2021 was won by Justyna Kowalska, MSc from the Faculty of Chemistry. She receives the prize of PLN 10 000.

The award for the most valuable implementation in 2021 was given to three units: Institute of Turbomachinery, Institute of General and Ecological Chemistry and Institute of Materials Engineering. The value of the award is PLN 40 000.

At the same time, special awards were given in the following scientific disciplines. For the 2022 best cited female/male author award, special awards in the following disciplines were given to:

  • in mechanical engineering – Prof. Tomasz Kubiak, Assoc. Prof. Eng.
  • in materials engineering – Prof. Leszek Klimek, Assoc. Prof. Eng.
  • in chemical sciences – Prof. Halina Abramczyk, Assoc. Prof.
  • in nutrition and food technology – Prof. Stanisław Bielecki, Assoc. Prof. Eng.
  • in automation, electronic and electrical engineering – Assoc. Prof. Eng. Michał Kaczmarek, TUL Prof.
  • in information and communication technology – Assoc. Prof. Eng. Piotr Szczypiński, TUL Prof.
  • in mathematics – Prof. Jacek Jachymski, Assoc. Prof. Eng.
  • in management and quality studies – Assoc. Prof. Małgorzata Koszewska, TUL Prof.

In the competition for the award for female/male author of the best scientific publication published in 2021, special awards were given to:

  • in materials engineering – Dr Eng. Bartłomiej Januszewicz
  • in chemical sciences – Dr Eng. Sebastian Frankowski
  • in nutrition and food technology – Prof. Grażyna Budryn, Assoc. Prof. Eng.
  • in automation, electronic and electrical engineering – Prof. Andrzej Bartoszewicz, Assoc. Prof. Eng.
  • in information and communication technology – Assoc. Prof. Eng. Aneta Poniszewska - Marańda, TUL Prof.
  • in mathematics – Dr Michał Boczek
  • in physical sciences – Prof. Tomasz Czyszanowski, Assoc. Prof. Eng.
  • in civil engineering and transport – Assoc. Prof. Eng. Marcin Koniorczyk, TUL Prof.
  • in management and quality studies – Prof. Agnieszka Zakrzewska – Bielawska, Assoc. Prof. Eng.

For the 2021 best publishing female/male doctoral student award, special awards were given to:

  • in materials engineering – Pamela Miśkiewicz, MSc
  • in nutrition and food technology – Aleksandra Chuda, MSc
  • in automation, electronic and electrical engineering – Błażej Torzyk, MSc
  • in mathematics – Michał Bełdziński, MA
  • in physical sciences – Weronika Głowadzka, MSc
  • in civil engineering and transport – Dr Eng. Damian Sokołowski
  • in management and quality studies – Iga Jaśmina Lamar, MSc.
