The team composed of Małgorzata Rogowska, Paweł Rogowski and Tomasz Smaż went to the capital of Estonia. The competition was attended by teams from over 20 countries from all over the world, whose robots competed in as many as 12 categories.
- Our representatives took part in the Line Following and Line Following Enhanced categories. They involve the robot covering the route marked with a black line on a white background as quickly as possible. In the Enhanced version, one had to additionally overcome obstacles encountered on the route, such as a hill, a ramp, crossroads, a junction, a brick on the road and pass through a zone with sectional speed control, says the supervisor of the students, Prof. Grzegorz Granosik in his correspondence from Tallinn.
In the Line Following Enhanced category, 35 robots constructed in different places all over the world took part, so it was a strongly attended competition. The SKaNeR team brought as many as two robots to the finals. "Bite" and "Sherlock" took the top two steps of the podium, crossing the track with times of 32 and 34 seconds respectively.
