It is the youngest at Lodz University of Technology and is just turning 30. The Faculty of Management and Production Engineering is celebrating its jubilee. It was established on 24 April 1991 as the Faculty of Organisation and Management; it has borne its current name since 2017. Almost 15 thousand people have already graduated from it.

The 30th anniversary celebrations will take place online and the organisers have arranged a number of activities. To ensure that everyone can take part, there will be no classes on Friday 23 April. The broadcast of the event will be available online, so everyone connected with the Faculty - now and in the past - can participate, relive memories of the university and celebrate today.

The studio will be organised in the Mirror Room of the Faculty of Management and Production Engineering (known to music lovers from the "Music at Lodz University of Technology" concerts), the host will be a student of the Faculty, Kinga Baryga.

What exactly is planned during the entire day of celebrations?

There will be interviews with graduates, a panel discussion with employers and foreign partners, and we will also hear from students.
At the end of the day, there will be a panel chaired by the Rector, Prof. Krzysztof Jóźwik, with the participation of Dean Prof. Agnieszka Zakrzewska-Bielawska and all her predecessors, whose special guest will be Prof. Jan Krysiński, former Rector of Lodz University of Technology and founder of the Faculty.

In the meantime we will take a virtual walk to the departmental laboratories: EQUAL - where issues of accessibility in a broad sense are studied, especially for the elderly and people with disabilities, LabNOISE - dealing with noise measurements, and to the Mentoring and Coaching Laboratory.
As the organisers say - We particularly encourage you to take part in the competitions, as you can win attractive prizes (surprises), e.g. a set of books on logistics by Prof. Andrzej Szymonik with a personalised dedication, a sushi-making course with Prof. Magdalena Grębosz-Krawczyk or a "Day without queue" at the Dean's Office of the Faculty of Management and Production Engineering.
