The results of the latest edition of the Times Higher Education Impact ranking of universities' implementation of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals underpinning the 2030 Agenda for a Sustainable World have been published.  

The debut of Lodz University of Technology in the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings is very successful. The university received the highest score for its activities promoting economic growth and decent work, taking first place in Poland ex aequo with the Wrocław University of Technology. In the world ranking TUL was classified in the high 201-300 range.
 
This is only the third edition of the ranking, but its popularity is growing rapidly. As Justyna Kopańska from the International Cooperation Centre reports - In the general classification there were 1115 universities from 94 countries, including 12 Polish universities - in the previous edition there were only 5 of them. Gdansk University of Technology, Warsaw University and Warsaw Medical University took places in the 601-800 range. Lodz University of Technology is one of eight Polish universities classified in the 801-1000 range, and Warsaw University of Technology was classified in the 1000+ position.
Lodz University of Technology competed in five of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals: Goal 3 Good Health and Quality of Life, Goal 8 Economic Growth and Decent Work, Goal 9 Innovation, Industry, Infrastructure, Goal 10 Less Inequality and Goal 17 Partnerships for the Goals.
