On 1 July, a summer school devoted to the issue of human-computer interaction comes to an end at the International Faculty of Engineering (IFE). For one week, Polish and international students attend lectures given by researchers from all over the world - Lodz University of Technology hosts outstanding professors from several European and American universities, including Chalmers University of Technology, University of St. Gallen or James Madison University. The event is organised by the Institute of Applied Computer Science of the Faculty of Electrical, Electronic, Computer and Control Engineering and IFE in cooperation with Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg and with the support of ACM SIGCHI (the Human-Computer Interaction Branch of the International Association for Computing Machinery) and the Polish Information Processing Society.

Funding is provided in part by EU funds under the Integrated Programme of Lodz University of Technology - Edition II and the Integrated Programme of Lodz University of Technology for the Development of the Lodz Region implemented under the Operational Programme Knowledge Education Development 2014-2020.
