They have been awarded since 2020, and their aim is to support publishing in prestigious journals and improve the quality of research conducted at Lodz University of Technology. They support the academic activity of the University assessed under evaluation criterion I and should result in obtaining the highest categories in the evaluation of scientific disciplines.
