Lodz University of Technology carries out sub-task 1.3 of the Task Budget: "Development of tools to support persons who prepare grant applications". Its purpose is systemic support for research teams preparing project applications, with particular emphasis on applications for international research projects. In order to increase the chances of research teams to obtain financing for international projects, it is possible to commission the preparation of the evaluation of a ready project application by independent external experts before submitting the application to the financing institution. This will improve the quality of applications submitted by TUL researchers and increase the chance of obtaining financing for the project. Applications for consent to the preparation of an external review should be submitted to the Vice-Rector for Science via the Project Service Centre, which reviews the applications. Projects prepared under international competitions, financed both by Polish institutions and the European Commission, as well as projects in which TUL is the consortium leader, will be treated as a priority.
