The Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Ranking considers the achievement of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals.

In the latest edition of this prestigious ranking, Lodz University of Technology once again took 1st place in Poland in Goal 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, and ranked in the global TOP 200 in this category.

The Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Ranking considers the achievement of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals.

In the latest edition of this prestigious ranking, Lodz University of Technology once again took 1st place in Poland in Goal 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, and ranked in the global TOP 200 in this category.

This confirms the effectiveness of the university's efforts to ensure equal opportunities for women and men, among both employees and doctoral students, as well as students. For three years now, Lodz University of Technology has been successfully implementing a Gender Equality Plan, which includes ensuring gender balance in leadership, decision-making, and scientific research, as well as gender equality in recruitment and career development, says the Rector of Lodz University of Technology, Prof. Krzysztof Jóźwik.

Lodz University of Technology also achieved a high position among the evaluated universities in Goal 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure (301-400 worldwide and 3rd in Poland) and Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals (401-600 worldwide and 4th in Poland).

Lodz University of Technology also participated in Goal 10: Reduced Inequalities and Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being.

In the overall ranking, Lodz University of Technology is the second-highest rated technical university in Poland and was classified in the range of 601-800 worldwide.

The ranking evaluated 2,152 universities, with 1,963 included in the overall classification, including 25 from Poland.
