The participation of TUL in ScalePL is set to facilitate the internationalization of research, accelerate technology transfer, and strengthen academic entrepreneurship, leveraging the expertise and networking opportunities available in the Californian innovation hub.
As part of ScalePL, Lodz University of Technology participates in the top 1000 Innovators of Poland in Silicon Valleyprogram. The aim of the activities is to develop partnerships that will accelerate the implementation of innovative solutions developed by university researchers into business practice.
During the program, Lodz University of Technology will present its scientific and technological potential in key areas for the modern economy, such as:
- Biomedical engineering and Health Technologies,
- Mechanical and Material Engineering,
- Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence,
- Civil engineering, Infrastructure and Smart cities,
- Energy, Environmental Engineering and Sustainability.
At the beginning of December, representatives of Lodz University of Technology will take part in the summit of the program in Silicon Valley, including plenary and workshop sessions organized at the world's leading universities – Stanford University, UC Berkeley and at the TripleRing Technologiesinnovation center.

Thanks to participation in the program, Lodz University of Technology will strengthen the promotion of its research and technology in the international environment, as well as gain access to a global network of cooperation with leading research centers and technology companies in the USA. This will open up new development perspectives for researchers, doctoral students and university students.
