In a nutshell, the Strefa ROSSwoju (ROSSdevelopment Zone) inaugurated on the premises of the Faculty of Organization and Management (OiZ) is a functional space where you can go to during a break between the lectures, review your notes, meet with friends or just relax.

The Faculty of Material Technologies and Textile Design hosted professor Somaye Akbari, a researcher from the Department of Textile Engineering at Amirkabir University of Technology (Tehran Polytechnic). Lodz University of Technology's cooperation with the Iranian university goes back several years. It is founded on collaborative research on functional textiles with antibacterial, insecticidal, anti-mildew, and flame-retardant properties. Textiles of this kind are used in advanced bioactive applications.

Dr inż. Anna Drzazga of the Institute of Molecular and Industrial Biotechnology at the Faculty of Biotechnology and Food Sciences is carrying out a research project funded under the NCN Sonatina grant. The research focuses on the characterization of selected lipids available in the diet and those produced by intestinal commensal bacteria (eds. defend the host against pathogenic bacteria) as biologically active molecules capable of regulating carbohydrate metabolism, which could potentially be applied in the dietary prevention of diabetes.

How To Bring Closer Students and Proactive Teachers Post Covid-19 was the title of the conference held at the Center for International Cooperation that marked the conclusion to the project e-CLOSE A model for Interactive (A)Synchronous Learning in Online STEM Education, launched two years ago.
SKN Druku 3D (Student Science Organization 3D Printing) was formed by the second-year Automation and Robotics students at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. Its goals include bringing together students interested in 3D printing, learning and advancing knowledge about additive technologies and the materials used in them, planning and developing manufacturing processes, and presenting their projects at scientific conferences.

Research Week was an event during which Lodz University of Technology presented its scientific potential, its current projects and international collaborative activity. The event's extremely rich agenda included lectures and presentations, open laboratories, as well as an Open Day for prospective students. There were also many meetings to inspire careers in research.
Lodz University of Technology students keep an open mind and, as Rector of Lodz University of Technology professor Krzysztof Jóźwik likes to accentuate, it is important that their research ideas should meet the needs of industry. - Following the talks we had with Biotechnika, the time has come to sign a sponsorship agreement. It is a new approach, although the idea itself is somewhat similar to what used to be called an endowed scholarship. Working in partnership, the company and Lodz University of Technology provide new opportunities for capable students.

In January 2023, the Faculty of Organization and Management, TUL, joined the Polish-Romanian-Moldovan consortium formed to carry out an Erasmus+ education project called Developing and improving the STEAM skills of students and teachers for curriculum innovation and sustainable development of higher education institutions and local businesses. The name of the project succinctly explains its objectives: the EU members of the consortium shall support the non-EU members in the development of innovative education by sharing their best practice and experience.
Fourteen undergraduate students were admitted to the second edition of the E2TOP program: 5 in their first year and 9 more advanced in their degree programs. They were introduced at the opening day of the Research Week. The selected fourteen will conduct interesting research projects under the guidance of TUL researchers.
