Each year, the Student Government at TUL holds a competition for the Best Teacher at Lodz University of Technology. During the summary of this year's activity, the TUL Student Government (January 28) officially announced the results of the competition for the academic year 2019/2020. In the latest Ranking of Secondary Schools 2021 announced by the Perspektywy Public Education Foundation, the Public Secondary School of Lodz University of Technology was once again ranked first in the Łódź Voivodeship.

Jacek Sawicki assoc. prof. Among the members of this body is also the president of the student government, Julia Chojnacka.
Lodz University of Technology, in cooperation with international partners, implements didactic projects related to the use of mixed reality, including virtual and augmented reality, in the educational process. #EKOlogicznie with TUL is the title of discussions that will appear on the university's Facebook page on Tuesdays, every two weeks. The ecological awareness of a growing part of the society, which is almost universal among young people, proves how important the subject of a clean environment and a healthy lifestyle is. Experts from TUL, for whom ecology is not only a passion but also a subject of scientific research, will advise on how to be a conscious consumer, suggest what decisions are worth making while caring for the environment. They will answer questions and doubts, because also in the subject of ecology there is no shortage of "false truths".
Students of Lodz University of Technology have chosen the company which in their opinion is the best employer in the Lodz region in 2020. The winner of the vote was Ericsson. On 21 January, the Rector of the Technical University of Lodz, Prof. Krzysztof Jóźwik, presented the representatives of the company with a commemorative statuette and a diploma.
