Within the internal quality assurance system at Lodz University of Technology, heads of units perform key tasks related to maintaining and improving the quality of education. Their main responsibilities include:
- implementing procedures that ensure high quality of education,
- monitoring and evaluating the quality of education within their respective units,
- cooperating with Field of Study Councils, Education Quality Councils and other advisory and consultative bodies,
- initiating improvement measures in response to recommendations and identified irregularities,
- providing information necessary for the preparation of reports related to the evaluation of the quality of education,
- supporting external accreditation processes.
