The scope of responsibilities of the Vice-Rector for Education is defined by Ordinance No. 30/2024 of the Rector of Lodz University of Technology of 2 September 2024 on the scope of responsibilities of the authorities of Lodz University of Technology.
The responsibilities of the Vice-Rector for Education include a wide range of activities related to the organization and quality of the educational process at the university. Some of the key tasks include:
- planning and organizing the educational process: including student admissions, coordination of study programs (in cooperation with the socio-economic environment), organization of student internships, and settlement of teaching workload,
- development of teaching staff: supporting academic teachers in improving their teaching skills,
- coordination of activities related to the quality of education: supervision of quality assurance systems and national and international accreditation,
- creation and development of educational centers,
- International cooperation in education: internationalization of studies and support for international exchange programs,
- postgraduate education, courses, and training programs,
- supervision of university-wide organizational unit: the TUL Language Centre, the Centre for Mathematics and Physics Education, the TUL Sports Centre, the TUL Public General Secondary School, and the TUL Non-Public Kindergarten,
- cooperation with external organization: acquiring funds for the development of education..
