Roganty is a tiny village near Giżycko, which is located on Lake Dargin in the immediate vicinity of the Pierkunowski Róg peninsula. It is a quiet and peaceful spot, away from civilization. The base was built on a former farm. There is a sanitary facility in the base, providing 24/7 access to sanitary facilities and a shower. Our base has direct access to the lake.

Detailed information about the season can be found on the website of the TUL Sailing Club: http://zeglarski.p.lodz.pl/
Our base is available in the summer season (June to August). Information on accommodation is provided by the Base Commodore, Ms. Elżbieta Wasylkowska.

Applications for accommodation at the Roganty base are accepted until 28 May. At a later date as places become available. At the Base, it is possible to stay overnight in your own tent or motorhome.

Applications for individual sailing - are also accepted until May 28.
(The application must contain information: who is chartering, who is the steersman, patent number, contact telephone number).

Currently, the Sailing Club has the following fleet:

Antila 26CC - the club's most modern unit, a yacht purchased in 2020.

Antila 24 - a modern club unit, a yacht purchased in 2009.

Mariner 830 - a yacht purchased in 2007, also belonging to the group of the most modern yachts owned by our club.

MORS RT - a yacht used for several years in our "hands" may not be the most equipped, but it does not differ technically from younger units.

Sportina - a very nice and fast sailing boat. Although it is several years old, it underwent a general overhaul in 2009 - it was completely refreshed, and the centerboard was changed from a glider to a tilting one.

Ricochet - a unit manufactured in the former USSR, in 2008 it underwent a major renovation and does not differ technically from the others, but when it comes to sailing, it is comparable to the Sportina.

Venus -  a vintage sailboat that used to be a family boat, still works very well today as a leisure yacht.

Additionally, the Base has two Omega class yachts for recreational sailing and four small Optimist class yachts for children and teenagers.

Every year, the Sailing Club of Lodz University of Technology and the Doctoral Students' Self Government invite all willing doctoral candidates and young scientists to the Doctoral Cruise on the Great Masurian Lakes, which takes place at the end of August and ends the sailing season. The route of the cruise runs from Rogant (TUL Sailing Base) through the entire Masuria region, every day the cruise stops at a different port or at a forest campsite. The staff of the camp are experienced Club members who have the permissions required by law to operate such yachts. The aim of the organisers is to integrate the community of doctoral students and young academics and to encourage participants to take up sailing. Registration and all information are provided by the commodore of the cruise, Damian Batory.
