Konopnica – a village with historical traditions, located by the Warta River near a large forest, ca. 20 km from Wieluń. It is associated with the noble Konopnicki family who left a romantic gothic palace built in the mid 19th century (the palace now belongs to Lodz University of Technology and constitutes the main building of “Dworek” Recreational Resort). An interesting tourist spot in Konopnica is a historical church built in 1642.
The main building of “Dworek” Recreational Resort of Lodz Univeristy of Technology is a stylish manor house. It offers 32 beds in 1, 2 and 3-person rooms with bathrooms, TV and Wi-Fi access. Guests can use a large recreation room with a TV set, a multimedia projector and a screen. A kitchen area makes it possible for guests to prepare meals on their own (dinners are provided for organized groups).
“Dworek” Recreational Resort welcomes visitors all year round. Organized groups are admitted for fixed periods in the summer, while individual visitors and groups may come during the rest of the year (upon agreement with the Social Affairs Office of Lodz University of Technology).
