Fourteen undergraduate students were admitted to the second edition of the E2TOP program: 5 in their first year and 9 more advanced in their degree programs. They were introduced at the opening day of the Research Week.  The selected fourteen will conduct interesting research projects under the guidance of TUL researchers.

Sports Bay (Zatoka Sportu)  scooped the DEMES 2022 Sports Business Award. The statuette, awarded for the win in the Small Sports Facility Management category, was presented at the 19th Sports and Business Gala in Warsaw.

The panel of judges in the first edition of the Professor Włodzimierz Krysicki Competition for the prize given by the Head of the Institute of Mathematics, TUL, for the best undergraduate and graduate thesis in Applied Mathematics decided to grant two prizes.

Will the same washing powder bought in Poland and Germany wash the same amount of stains? Researchers carrying out the Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain for Product Quality and Safety System (SALUS) project will help answer this question. The work is led by Assoc. Prof. Aneta Poniszewska-Marańda, at TUL.

Artificial intelligence is a tool that offers almost unlimited possibilities. It is as much an opportunity for development as it is a threat, as Kacper Kubicki, M.Sc., says. He is pursuing his doctoral thesis in the discipline of information and communication technology.

Sports and Education Centre of Lodz University of Technology - Sports Bay, received the DEMES Sports Business Award for 2022 in the category 'Small Sports Facility Management' at the 19th Sports and Business Gala.

The President of the Republic of Poland, in his decision from the 14th of February, granted the title of professor of engineering sciences in the discipline of civil engineering and transportation to Marcin Koniorczyk, Ph.D., D.Sc., from the Faculty of Construction, Architecture and Environmental Engineering at Lodz University of Technology.

The 29th edition of the Technical Review Award turned out to be lucky for two winners from Lodz University of Technology. Adam Rylski, Ph.D. received the title of Golden Engineer, and student Aleksandra Bednarek was awarded the Honorary Golden Engineer award.

President Andrzej Duda has conferred the title of professor of natural sciences in the discipline of chemical sciences on dr hab. Piotr Polanowski of the Faculty of Chemistry, TUL. The decision was signed on February 7, 2023.
