Lodz University of Technology Rector's Cup Run made its return to Ks. J. Poniatowski Park after a several-year hiatus. The race was held this year under the theme Life Mercury Free and was organized as part of the Life Mercury Free - Mercury Free Cities project.

The Disco Angels, a group of students from the FTIMS of Lodz University of Technology, won in the category Best Gameplay in the finals of the Indie Showcase during the international Game Access Conference in Brno (Czechia) that concluded on June 1. Their game, Heartbreaker, competed against more than a hundred indie games (short for 'independent game') created by small and medium-sized companies from Canada, Austria, Germany, Czechia, Slovakia, Turkey, Ukraine, and Moldova.
TUL Institute of Management organized the 12th National Scientific Conference on the Management of Organizational Development. The themes of his year's edition (May 22 to May 24) were the challenges to the development of modern organizations, such as digitalization, green governance, and diversity.

As the situation gets worse, they tend to skip classes and sometimes even drop out of school to get some relief and respite from the excessive stress and fear. To address these devastating reports, researchers from the Voxel Research Lab and their international friends developed a solution that offers emergency relief to students struggling through university and facing personal day-to-day challenges.

The authorities of Lodz University of Technology cordially invite to a formal meeting of the Senate on June 19 (Wednesday), at which the title of honorary doctorate will be awarded to Professor Jacek Moll, one of the founders of pediatric cardiac surgery in Poland, highly respected among physicians and patients, professor of medical sciences and a mechanical engineer.

Until 15 October 2024, researchers from ECIU members can submit proposals for the two actions of the Seed Programme to initiate new or strengthen existing research collaborations. The Seed Programme has two action lines: SP 1: Blended Mobility to Create Networks and SP 2: Seed Projects.
Modern interiors housing 1 000 m2 of laboratory space decorated with a touch of industrial edginess have now been opened at TUL to facilitate collaboration on interdisciplinary creative projects. It is not often that universities in Poland can offer this type of facility.

On May 21, the regional gala of the 16th edition of Forbes Diamonds 2024, awarded to the most dynamically developing companies in Poland, was held in Lodz. Lodz University of Technology was ranked 13th in the Lodz region, among companies with revenues of more than PLN 250 million.
