The publication of the results of the latest edition of the QS Europe rankings brought good news: Lodz University of Technology performed significantly well in the Outbound Exchange Students category and yet again was ranked 1st in the country and 89th in Europe.
A gold medal was awarded to Lodz University of Technology for the innovation ‘PLA composite, its fabrication technology, and its applications’ (patent number PCT/EP2024/052675) at the prestigious EUROINVENT 2024 European Exhibition of Creativity and Innovation held in Iasi, Romania.

An exhibition entitled 'Freedom' was organised at the Biblio-Art Gallery, featuring photographs by students of the Łódź Film School and the Institute of Architecture and Urban Planning at the Łódź University of Technology.

As they say, time flies. Last week (2-4.07), for the tenth time, a regatta was held at the TUL sailing depot in Roganty. Twelve crews, each comprised of TUL faculty and other university units’ staff, raced for the rector’s cup.

A team of students from Lodz University of Technology has achieved spectacular success, winning the finals of the International Small Wind Turbine Contest (ISWTC) 2024. Their innovative wind turbine won first place in the Sustainability category, further proof of the high quality and innovation of Polish student projects.
Prof. Lukasz Albrecht, vice-rector for science at TUL and director of the Institute of Organic Chemistry, has been appointed to the Supervisory Board of EIT Health InnoStars where he represents EIT Health's Polish partners.

The results of the European MSCA Staff Exchanges 2023 competition turned out to be very favorable for Lodz University of Technology. Prof. Przemysław Data from the Department of Molecular Physics will coordinate the project Green Horizon on Organic Semiconductor Technologies - GHOST. The project's value is nearly 1.5 million euros from the European Commission's Horizon Europe program.
