Among the graduates of Lodz University of Technology there is a scientist who is the second Polish person to be able to fly into space. This is Sławosz Uznański, Ph.D., who was included on the list of astronauts announced by the European Space Agency (ESA) in Paris (23 November). This choice is a great success, and it gives us satisfaction that on his way to a career in science and space, he graduated from Lodz University of Technology.

For a few days, from 23 to 27 November, visitors from 7 countries: Estonia, Latvia, Germany, Slovakia, Sweden, Ukraine and Poland, will come to Lodz University of Technology to participate in the 9th international training conference for doctoral candidates from the Baltic Sea region - BUP 9th PhD Students training "Interdisciplinary-Multicultural-International".

Yesterday (15.11), the results of the vote of the Lodz Citizens' Budget 2022/2023 were announced. The number of oncological patients is growing every year, and as a result, the need to develop effective anti-cancer drugs is increasing. A team of scientists from Lodz University of Technology, Medical Universities of Lodz and Lublin and the Centre of Molecular and Macromolecular Studies of Polish Academy of Sciences in Lodz are responding to this challenge.
