Lodz University of Technology is the leader of a project implemented together with business partners from Poland and Turkey. The aim of the consortium is to develop a home-based wind turbine capable of cooperation and integration with other Renewable Energy Sources.

LIFE MERCURY-FREE is a pro-ecological project coordinated by Lodz University of Technology, for which the university obtained almost EUR 1.4 million from the LIFE - European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency - Programme, financing only activities related to environmental protection.
Three important projects carried out by researchers from Lodz University of Technology will be funded by the National Science Centre from the OPUS 22 and OPUS LAP programmes. The total amount of funding is over 4 million PLN.
