At the beginning of summer holidays (June 24), a summer school devoted to human-computer interaction will be launched at Lodz University of Technology. For a week, Polish and foreign students will be looking for answers to the question of How digital technologies can support our well-being? The classes will be run by eminent professors from several European and American universities, including: Chalmers University of Technology, University of St. Gallen or James Madison University.
We would like to invite you to the EIT Health Open Day, which will take place on 30 June at "Alchemium - the magic of tomorrow's chemistry". During the meeting, competitions and activities carried out within the EIT Health will be discussed. The special guest of the event will be Mrs Francesca Avolio, the Regional Director of EIT Health.

‘Perspektywy’ magazine ranking has been released for the 29th time. Lodz University of Technology’s place among the best academic universities in Poland has been confirmed. This year's TUL score is the fifth place in the technical universities’category and tenth in the overall ranking.

Professor Beata Kolesińska from the TUL Faculty of Chemistry has won the title of Person of the Year 2022. This prestigious award is granted annually by the editors of Panorama Gospodarcza to two people - a man and a woman. The award was presented during the International Economic Forum, which was held for the fourth time.

The Perspektywy Educational Foundation has published the results of this year's rankings. The University of Warsaw was awarded the first place in the Ranking of Academic Schools, gaining 100 percent in the ranking index. Lodz University of Technology was classified among the ten best universities in Poland.
Lodz University of Technology has received an extension for another 3 years - until 17 June 2025 - of its entitlement to the HR Excellence in Research award granted by the European Commission and to use its logo. For the first time, Lodz University of Technology was among the research institutions that were awarded this important "mark of excellence" back in May 2016.

The GUST team from TUL Lodz took second place in the contest organized by the Delft University of Technology in Holland, which took place on 2 June.
Scientists from Lodz University of Technology are involved in a project run by FermiLAB, the main particle physics laboratory in the United States, managed by the Department of Energy. The research work conducted is related to neutrinos, which are part of the search for answers to fundamental questions about the origin of the universe.
The project entitled "Sustainable Industrial Design of Textile Structures for Composites", coordinated by Prof. Marcin Barburski, from the Institute of Architecture of Textile at TUL, has been nominated for the title Symbol of the Synergy of Science and Business 2022.
Symbol is a nationwide programme aimed at promoting the best symbolic entities in their industries. More than 500 institutions have won the award over the past 11 years.
