Since its establishment in 2007, the school has been managed by the same person. 15 years have passed like one day... Today, on June 10th, the Public Secondary School of Lodz University of Technology is celebrating its jubilee. The official celebrations took place in the Performance Hall of Lodz University of Technology (Al. Politechniki 3a).
The game Bzzz! – ‘Together in Power’ designed by applied computer science students from the Faculty of Technical Physics, Information Technology and Applied Mathematics won an award in the Best Gameplay category of the Indie Showcase competition at the international Game Access Conference held in Brno.

The game "Bzzz! - Together in Power" won the Best Gameplay category of the Indie Showcase competition at the international Game Access Conference held at the end of May (May 27-28) in Brno (Czech Republic). The DVD Unicorns team - computer science students at the TUL Faculty of Technical Physics, Information Technology and Applied Mathematics - competed against game projects created largely by small and medium-sized companies in the video game industry.
Łukasz Adamek, M.Sc., a doctoral student at the Faculty of Electrical, Electronic, Computer and Control Engineering is taking part in an economic mission to Egypt (May 29-31) attended by the President of Poland. During the Poland-Egypt New Tech Forum in Cairo, Mr Adamek is presenting an innovative solution based on the use of thermal imaging to detect early symptoms of disease in animals.
Enrico Fermi National Laboratory of Elementary Particles (FermiLab) in the state of Illinois, managed by the U.S. Department of (Energy, is one of the world's most recognized scientific centers dedicated to studying the structure of matter at its lowest subatomic level. Currently, the FermiLAB is carrying out work related to neutrinos, which involves scientists from Lodz University of Technology.

Treatment of heavily contaminated industrial wastewater is a tremendous challenge facing our economy. Currently, one of the most promising methods of their recycling, with high implementation potential, is ozonation of wastewater in the presence of a catalyst. This topic of research is dealt with Assoc. Prof. Lucyna Bilińska, who works at the Faculty of Process and Environmental Engineering , this year's winner of the Scientist of the Future Award, in the category of Future Research.
The project with the acronym SustDesignTex will be implemented at theFaculty of Materials Technology and Textile Design. For its implementation, 1.5 million euros from European funds were awarded to Lodz University of Technology.
