As many as eight projects will be implemented at Lodz University of Technology under the programme "Students' scientific circles create innovations". Ministry of Science and Higher Education has granted almost PLN 500,000 in funding for this purpose.
Łódź Regional Council of the Industry of the Future in Lodz inaugurated its activities at a meeting held on March 15 in Belchatow. The Council was composed of economists, scientists and entrepreneurs from the Lodz Voivodeship. The Rector of Lodz University of Technology, Prof. Krzysztof Jóźwik, was appointed to this group.

Lodz University of Technology is proud of the numerous successes of students involved in scientific circles. These activities have also been appreciated by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education. As part of the competition "Students' scientific circles create innovations", it awarded almost PLN 0.5 million. Funding for the projects was granted to as many as 8 scientific circles, the highest number among all the universities in Poland.
In autumn, the Interdisciplinary Doctoral School, TUL will start offering doctoral studies to additional students selected through a joint admission process between the university and the National Centre for Research and Development. This is the effect of the agreement signed by the Rector of Lodz University of Technology, Professor Krzysztof Jóźwik and the President of IDEAS NCBR, Prof. Piotr Sankowski.
The Minister of Economic Development and Technology granted the Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship of Lodz University of Technology the status of an accredited Innovation Centre for services provided under programmes financed from European funds. Having such a status allows the unit to provide professional pro-innovation services.
Faculty of Organization and Management concluded an agreement with TÜV NORD, a certification partner with a long experience and tradition, operating in over 100 countries worldwide, including 25 years in Poland.
