The results of the latest edition of the QS World University Rankings – Europe 2026 have been published. Lodz University of Technology has once again excelled in internationalization, achieving very strong results in key student mobility indicators.

Lodz University of Technology has signed a cooperation agreement with the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technology (USUST) from Dnipro. The agreement was signed on Friday, January 16, in the Rector’s Office by Prof. Krzysztof Jóźwik, Rector of TUL, and Prof. Kostiantyn Sukhyi, Rector of USUST.

Lodz University of Technology (TUL) has begun cooperation with Longdong University, a public higher education institution from Gansu Province, China. The university is actively involved in the international “Belt and Road Initiative”. Its activities focus on the development of academic exchange, joint research projects, and the transfer of knowledge and technology between universities in different countries.

On 1 December 2025, a seminar ‘Engineering for Security: Universities and Industry in Service of Defence’ was held in Brussels, organised by the Perspektywy Educational Foundation, the National Centre for Research and Development, and Business & Science Poland, in cooperation with European technical universities and representatives of the defence sector. The event was attended by the rector of the Łódź University of Technology, Prof. Krzysztof Jóźwik.
The Lodz University of Technology Foundation has awarded scholarships to the university’s most talented students for the thirteenth time, marking the culmination of its Scholarship Programme with a final gala.
