Please find attached the Announcement oof Vice-Rector for Student Affairs at Lodz University of Technology of 24 May 2023 on tuition fees and fees for other services provided as part of full-time and part-time studies at first- and second-cycles as well as postgraduate studies and other forms of education at Lodz University of Technology charged to non-Polish citizens not listed in Article 324(2) of the Act of 20 July 2018 - Law on Higher Education and Science, starting the study cycle in the academic year 2023/24.

The academic community of Lodz University of Technology is very proud of the title of European Tree of the Year 2023, which was awarded to Oak Fabrykant which grows in Bishop Klepacz Park on TUL campus. The university community decided to commemorate this achievement and founded a monument with a commemorative plaque informing of its successes.

The celebration of the 78th anniversary of the founding of the university on May 24 was an opportunity for the academic community to meet with the authorities of the province and the city numerous as well as many industry representatives, who listened to the speech delivered by the rector of TUL, Prof. Krzysztof Jóźwik, concerning TUL successes and achievements of scientists and students during the passing academic year.

We are pleased to invite you to participate in the 3rd Urban Regeneration Congress, taking place on May 30-31 in Lodz, under the patronage of Lodz University of Technology. This unique and pioneering event focuses on regeneration and sustainable urban development.

Over the past year, close to 90 individuals, having successfully defended their doctoral dissertations or received their postdoctoral degree, have advanced to the next stage of their academic careers. It was a day of rejoicing and contentment for the individuals who attended the session of the TUL Senate held on this occasion.

Customarily, on May 24, on the anniversary of the establishment of Lodz University of Technology, a formal meeting of the Senate will be held. The university's birthday is an opportunity for a joint meeting of the academic community with the city and university authorities, as well as the presentation of awards to academics and students.

In the Prof. Tadeusz Paryjczak Auditorium in the "Alchemium - the magic of tomorrow's chemistry" building, the Rector of Lodz University of Technology - Prof. Krzysztof Jóźwik presented eight scientists with habilitation degrees and 65 with doctoral degrees in engineering and technology, natural sciences, agricultural sciences and social sciences.

Lodz University of Technology has been recognized in the ‘European Universities - Alliances of the Future’ competition. TUL won in the category Erasmus+ Excellence. The award was presented to the Rector of Lodz University of Technology, Professor Krzysztof Jóźwik, during the ceremony concluding the 1st Conference of European Universities.

Architectural design workshops for children and adolescents from Ukraine - Architectural Abecadło - Архітектурна Абетка, were organized jointly by the Scientific Association of Architectural Design Students ‘IX Piętro’, the Student Scientific Association ‘Kąt’, in collaboration with the Ecological Association Phoenix, directed by Mr. Ihor Ivonchik.

The technology relies on graphene-based composite materials and will be employed to obtain ultrapure, high grade water. It was developed collaboratively by researchers from Lodz University of Technology and the staff of AMII Łódź, a company that makes water filters, among other products.
