The Ministry of Education and Science has announced the names of the winners of scholarships for significant scientific, artistic or sporting achievements for 2022/2023. Seven students from Lodz University Technology have been awarded ministerial scholarships.

During the inauguration of the XXII Festival of Science, Technology and Arts in Lodz, on April 17, in the Concert Hall of the Academy of Music, awards were given in the XX edition of the Lodz Eureka 2022 competition. Two statuettes, out of the four awards granted, went to scientists from Lodz University of Technology.
Dr Jacek Stańdo, Professor at Lodz University of Technology's Centre for Mathematics and Physics Education, has been awarded the Ambassador of Innovation award by the European Centre for the Development of the Economy. The mathematician was recognised for his outstanding involvement in numerous projects aimed at developing innovation in Poland, as well as forward-thinking, out-of-the-box thinking and new solutions.
The results of the 3rd edition of the Ministry of Education and Science programme 'Student Research Clubs Create Innovations' have been announced. Among the 174 teams awarded, there are seven research clubs from Lodz University of Technology.
