Lodz University of Technology will be working on the design of a microalgae separation system. Microalgae are now being used to a limited extent due to the complicated process and high cost of extracting these sea treasures. They grow in salt water and can be used to supplement the resources of microorganism grown in freshwater and in agricultural areas, used in the production of food, chemical products and medicines.
The leader of the project is the biotechnological start-up uFraction8 PL, partnered with the Institute of Turbomachinery of Lodz University of Technology, as well as the Pintech Quantum and Get Models Now companies.
