Reducing carbon dioxide emissions is one of the biggest challenges facing civilisation. Dawid Zawadzki, M.Sc., who is designing a compact CO2 absorption device, wants to make his contribution to solving this problem. In the future, it could be used on oil platforms or ships.

The first pilot Workshop for Active Use of Technology (PAKT) in Poland was opened at Lodz University of Technology on Wednesday (14 December). It will be a place to host educational workshops for children, young people and adults, based on problem-based, project-based work and the three leading STEAM pathways: robotics, programming and multimedia.
A computer game during functional magnetic resonance imaging, developed at the Institute of Information Technology at the Faculty of Technical Physics, Information Technology and Applied Mathematics at TUL, won in the "Transformation Partner/Solution Provider" category. Lodz University of Technology (30 November) was the venue for the closing session of the OSCE Civic Solidarity Platform meeting. The conference adopted the Lodz Declaration, in which the authors call on the international community to halt Russian aggression against Ukraine, prevent impunity and ensure justice.
