Project description.
Our research team in the Department of Molecular Physics at the Lodz University of Technology (www.kfm.p.lodz.pl) investigates novel applications of mechanically flexible and stretchable organic electronics. Within the framework of a two years project, you will be responsible for deposition of thin films on stretchable substrates and testing in electronic devices as well as studying their supramolecular structure. You will closely cooperate with members of the department and university, but also with external partners within international interdisciplinary cooperations. The results will be published in high-ranking peer-reviewed journals and communicated on international conferences by the applicants.
Requirements
An above average master’s degree in chemistry, physics, material science or electrical engineering are required. Ideally, you have already a background in organic electronics or in thin film deposition of conjugated polymers and molecules. This includes experimental techniques such as thin film deposition, electrical and optical characterization methods. As researcher you work independently and creatively, enjoy working in cross-cultural and diverse teams and have a strong command of English.
Our offer
We offer a fascinating and challenging research in a modern field with exciting projects in an excellent interdisciplinary environment. You will have the opportunity to visit our international collaboration partners to enlarge your experience and gain new competencies.
